We are now living in a digital age and this brings both advantages and disadvantages. In the past, we may well have stored all of our photos in an album or shoebox buried in the back of a wardrobe.
Digital photography means that ALL of our images are there at hand, ready to show the neighbours at the click of a button.
How cool is that?
Now, lets say your child or pet knocks the album or shoebox off your dining table. No big deal, just pick the photos up and off you go. This brings us on to the disadvantages of the digital age - ALL of your images are on a hard drive or PC that will go wrong at some point. Guaranteed. There is no hard copy of these pictures. No shoebox. No album. Just a broken PC and lots of grief because you have no copy of the pictures of your :-
